We started our day with a morning walk in the beach. Actually, I ran first and then walked the pups (JuJu and Reecie) on the beach. Did I mention that it’s hot even at 7am!

Pop Pop and dad made a brief appearance as well.

We then headed to Shipyard park. Our game was supposed to be at 6. Storm delays meant an 8 start. This meant my parents missed his game since they had to get on the road. It was disappointing but at least they had Game Changer.

The game was a bitter one. The opposing coach was loud and on purpose delayed the game. We Jersey people let him know it…and we got the warning from tournament officials.

Z was 0-2. Bad strike out at and bad 2 out time but there is always tomorrow.

He also got absolute drilled in the leg on a comeback. He roughed it out to finish the inning. Unfortunately we put ourselves in a whole early against the number one ranked team in Michigan. I still feel we can play with them.

Today, we are onto round two with another game at 4 today.
