Today, we drove to Kearney, Nebraska. And on the way, we passed the Oracle’s home town. The great Warren Buffet and Omaha, Nebraska. The man, the myth and in my book the greatest investors of all time. When I first started investing, I bought Berkshire Class B shares. Why? Because a group of us from work wanted to go to their annual meeting. We never made it, but that didn’t stop me from holding it until today. And if you want a great read, take a look at his annual letter. Pure gold

Off of I80, there is a place called the Archway near Kearney , Nebraska. Really cool place where the three trails of Oregon, California and Mormon trail came together before they split apart.

It gave a big background into the life of pioneers headed west. A hard life for tough people. Maybe that’s why our ancestors didn’t make it pass Ohio.
Tomorrow we head to Scott’s Bluff.
