After five hours on I80, we made it to Adel. Along the way, we crossed the mighty Mississippi.

The Mississippi is just a wide, hulk of a river. It’s easy to understand why it was such an important part of early life in the US.
The night was spent enjoying time at the RV park. This place is massive with much to do. We ended up shooting baskets and enjoying the sounds of a local music guy.

And then had a competitive game of horse shoes. Someone threw two ringers. That was quickly followed by his cousin. Unfortunately for daddy, he was good but no ringers.

Today, we head to Scott’s Bluff. We are about 5 hours away. On to see the trails of Scott’s Bluff.
